If you remember, a mythology is a collection of stories that rely on symbols to define and express our worldview and values. Myths provoke a powerful emotional response, and help us define who “us” and “them” are.

Unfortunately, many of our most deeply-held American myths are rooted in white supremacist ideology.

If we are going to fight for racial justice, we need to change the narrative.
